Fitting the handles
Each handle end pushes into its slot in the rim until it clicks. Press on the ends of the handle, not the middle — pressing the middle bends the arch away from the slot and makes it harder than it needs to be.
Once they're in, they stay in. You don't reattach them when the basket folds.
Honest sizing
Forty litres is deliberately modest. It's one load, carried comfortably, in a basket that stores flat. If you want a single basket that swallows a whole family's washing, this isn't it — and we'd rather tell you here than have you send it back.
